We lost two Legendary Music Influences this past week. Multi-Talented Music Legend Sly Stone has died. Sly born Sylvester Stewart headed up the Music Group Sly and the Family Stone. They had the hits Stand, Everyday People, thank you for letting me be myself, Hot Fun in the Summertime, and Family Affair to name a few. Sly had been battling COPD and other illnesses for many years. He was surrounded by his three children and family when he died, He was 82. Sly and the family Stone was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame in 1993. Questlove of The Roots recently did a documentary on Sly Stone that is airing on Hulu. We also lost Singer and Songwriter Wayne Lewis of Atlantic Star. Lewis along with his brother David Founded Atlantic Starr. Atlantic Starr had a string of hits with their female singers Sharon Bryant and Barbara Weathers Circles, When Love Calls but it was Wayne Lewis who did their major songs. He sang the Lead on their other hits Send for me, If Your Heart isn’t in it and All in the Name of Love. Wayne Lewis was 68 years old.
The Barbara Walers Hulu documentary ‘Tell me Everything” about her interviewing style will start streaming on June 23rd.
Actor Damson Idris will hit the big screen with Brad Pitt in the race car drama F-1 the movie opens in theaters June 27th. Damson is currently gracing the cover of GQ Magazine .
Tony Terry is going to be starring The Diary of Black Men coming to the Keswick Theater Sunday June 29th at The Keswick Theater in Glenside
Eddie Murphy has a new Prime movie coming out on Aug 6th ‘The Pickup’ with Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer.

Tyler Perry is back with Another Madea Movie. July 11th on Netflix it’s Madeas Destination Wedding. Her Great Neice is getting married in The Bahamas.
