Leslie Odom, Jr. was born in Queens, NY, but grew up in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia from childhood until his matriculation to Carnegie Mellon University as an aspiring collegian.He’s best known for his role is Aaron Burr in the hit Broadway Play ‘Hamilton’, and won a Tony Award for his performance in 2016.He’s gone on to star in the feature films Red Tails, Murder On The Orient Express, Harriet, the screen adaptation of Hamilton, and now stars in the Regina King directed, ‘One Night in Miami’, as the legendary Sam Cooke, which is currently airing on Amazon Prime…
