If you missed it, yesterday's episode of The View took a turn for the worst when Whoopi and Meghan went at it (CLICK HERE TO WATCH) with Whoopi telling Meghan, "Girl, you need to stop talking right now", to which Meghan said she wouldn't talk for the rest of the show (and Whoopi saying she's fine with that.)
It turns out today the show needed to do some clean-up, as both took turns addressing the comments at the top of the show (watch that below.)
Goldberg started off the conversation, adding that "things can get a little heated, and sometimes we're not as polite as we could be, and that's just the way it is. Wherever you sit in all this, don’t assume that we’re here with little butcher knives under the table. It doesn’t work that way. Sometimes it just goes off the rails. So everybody just calm down – it’s a tv show and we’re on together for an hour and sometimes we step in poopie.”
McCain jumped in, adding that the two generally "get along great."
Whoopi chimed in saying that she loved Meghan, and that they fight "like family." Meghan compared the show's "fights" to debates families have around the dinner table.
