Philly Public Pools Operating On Free Swim Schedule This Week

Here's some good news to stay cool - this week is going to be INSANELY hot in Philly - so if you want to cool down and go for a swim, ALL Philly public pools will be operating on a FREE swim schedule starting Wednesday until further notice.

There is an excessive heat watch in effect for Philly from Wednesday to Sunday, with temps hitting near 100 this weekend (and feeling like 110+).

Philly Parks & Rec tweeted today:

"CODE RED! Starting tomorrow, all public pools will operate on a free swim schedule until further notice. Use our finder to locate your nearest pool!"
