With the recent passing of the late and great Aretha Franklin, the American Music Award's will honor her with a tribute.
On Oct. 9th, "The Queen of Soul" will be honored by a few of our favorite singers. According to usatoday.com the names that will pay homage to Aretha will be, "Gladys Knight, Ledisi, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans and musical director Rickey Minor will pay tribute to Aretha Franklin’s gospel roots and her iconic album, “Amazing Grace,”.
Little fun fact: Aretha Franklin won six AMAs throughout her career and even hosted the show in 1976 and 1983.
This only seems right to honor the best to ever do at this years AMA's.
