Loraine Ballard Morrill catches up with George Mosee, the new Executive Director of the Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network.
Kinks, Locks & Twists taking place August 17-19 in Philadelphia, is a national women’s conference that uses the Reproductive Justice framework to engage Black women and girls in community organizing for lasting social change. It is organized annually by New Voices, a Pittsburgh-based human rights organization focused on reproductive justice, LGBTQ rights, healthcare access, ending gender-based violence, incarceration, environmental justice and integrated voter engagement. Loraine speaks with co-Founder La'Tasha Mayes.
Finally Loraine talks with with Michael Banks, the dynamic President and CEO of the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE - not only about the organization that supports black businesses – but Bank’s extraordinary and inspiring journey from high school drop out to bank vice president.
