Founded in 1971, the mission of Women Organized Against Rape is to bring communities together to end sexual violence. Loraine speaks with WOAR’s Executive Director Monique Howard about the history of the organization, the services and advocacy they provide and the expansion of outreach to men and the LGTBQ community. They also discussed the upcoming Bridge of Courage Awards on April 11th and Hands Around City Hall April 28th to raise awareness about sexual violence.
