Eve Jihan Jeffers-Cooper, a rapper and actress from Philadelphia is also the inaugural winner of the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Song Collaboration in 2002, for the song "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" with Gwen Stefani. Eve has also collaborated with many other artists including DMX, Jill Scott, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Erykah Badu, and The Roots. Eve has released four studio albums and 32 singles as a musical artist.
As an actress, Eve is known for her roles as Terri Jones in the films Barbershop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business and Barbershop: The Next Cut. Eve has also achieved success in fashion, with her clothing line, Fetish. She is currently a permanent co-host on the television show ‘The Talk’.
In 2019, WDAS also honored Eve as our Trailblazing Woman of Excellence at our 2019 Women of Excellence Luncheon.
