February 28: Tony Brown

Tony Brown for 45 years has graced the airwaves as the host of WDAS FM’s “Quiet Storm.” Brown actually became interested in radio at the young age of four. Tony's career in radio began on Temple University's WRTI radio in 1969. Tony is credited as co-writer of his theme song on "Quiet Storm", with Bert Willis and Philadelphia musicians Rob Arthurs and Rudy Gay.
