Singer Ciara - who is married to pro football player Russell Wilson - posted a video to Twitter that's got the Twitterverse all up in arms. See the video below in which she captioned "#LevelUp."
While some on Twitter think Ci Ci's video points fingers at single women and how they carry themselves, others are asking why that same mentality isn't pushed on men to "#LevelUp."
Sidechicks and single moms are the only people mad at Ciara— luisa (@luisagibsonxo) January 21, 2018
Y’all, nobody is mad at Ciara (well, I’m not lmao). Folks are just tired that this isn’t being pushed on men like it is being pushed on women.— Brooke Ashley 👑 (@TheBrookeAsh) January 21, 2018
Here are the facts:— Bridge♡ (@DntBurnUrBRIDGE) January 21, 2018
1. Ciara didn’t TELL y’all to get married or in anyway insinuate that she was better then anyone’s who isn’t married.
2. The pastor did NOT tell ALL women to do ANYTHING for a man to see your worth. He simply challenged you to check your own.
I’m not mad at Ciara posting that, it’s expected from a married woman. I’m mad there’s not sermons being posted for these men lol. It’s always on the woman— Glen CoCo (@chrissy_kreme10) January 21, 2018
