The R&B group, Boyz II Men, received a special honor in their hometown of Philadelphia yesterday. The group helped unveil a street sign to officially rename Broad Street, from Christian to Carpenter Streets, “Boyz II Men Boulevard.” The section is near the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where the members of Boyz II Men were once aspiring young musicians.

Renaming S. Broad Street outside CAPA as Boyz II Men Boulevard this fine morning. When they got that record deal, it was like we all made it! This is for years of making us proud, representing Philadelphia well to the world, and inspiring arts students and kids from the neighborhood alike to follow their dreams of musical greatness #boyziimen #boyziimenblvd
