Twin sisters Tia Mowry-Hardict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are prepping for a reboot of their 1990s TV sitcom Sister, Sister. Tia and Tamera starred as, ironically, twin sisters separated at birth who accidentally found each other years later. In an interview with Nylon, when asked about a possible Sister, Sister revival, Tia revealed,
"We're looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show...I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be."
Nevertheless, the twins are making moves to bring Sister, Sister back! In the original show's finale, the mother of Tia's character - played by Jackee Harry - was getting married and the twins were off at Michigan University. So hopefully fans and new viewers can see how the twins' lives are now, do they have any new siblings, any kids of their own and if Tamera's dad - played by Tim Reid - found love.
