Actress, dancer, choreographer, director and producer Debbie Allen is in Philadelphia today (May 10th) to receive a special honor from The Mann Center for the Performing Arts. She's also teaching master classes to dance students at both String Theory Charter School and CAPA, the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. In a Facebook Live video with WDAS-FM's Patty Jackson, Allen shares her wish to reboot A Different World, which she directed and produced in the late 80's and early 90's. Check it out below.
As of now, Allen is in the initial phase of getting the rights to a reboot of A Different World. If she can make this happen, we're here for it!
