Singer Tyrese announced his Valentine's Day wedding on his Instagram earlier this week, but didn't give any details on the new Mrs. Gibson...not even her name. Well our friends at TMZ have found out! Samantha Lee is a New Jersey native with a hefty salary of her own. She attended the University of Georgia where she earned her Master's degree in social work. Since then she's been working to fight some serious issues, including sex and human trafficking and counseling for inmates.
She and Tyrese met through mutual friends after he posted an open letter to his "wife of the future" back in 2015.
For those questioning Tyrese's reference to his wife as his "black queen," she's Ecuadorian, Jamaican and African American.
