Scandal actress Kerry Washington has landed her next leading role, starring in and producing the thriller novel adaption of The Perfect Mother. The book centers on a group of Brooklyn moms, "May Mothers," who gather together for time away from their children. Things take a turn for the worse when one mother's 6-week-old son, Midas, is abducted. The story continues to follow the moms as they take desperate measures to find young Midas. Meanwhile, their journey reveals secrets, form friendships and truly tests them as well as some marriages. No word on a release date yet, but we'll be checking for Washington in The Perfect Mother. In the meantime, check out this sneak peek of an all new Scandal which airs Thursday at 9pm ET on ABC.
