DMX Visits Philly Homeless Group

About a year ago rapper DMX was found unconscious in a New York hotel when First Responders were able resuscitate him. He decided to spend the anniversary of his near-death experience inspiring those in need. While in Philadelphia, DMX surprised a group of men belonging to a nonprofit called Ready, Willing & Able Philadelphia. Also known as RWA, this organization is dedicated to breaking "the cycle of homelessness, addiction and criminal recidivism." Participants are offered housing as well as full-time work, but they must maintain sobriety and their goal of transitioning to full independence. See some of DMX's visit below and the full story here.
