Going Black: The Legacy of Philly Soul Radio

Mighty Writers is  a free program designed to “teach Philadelphia kids to think and write with clarity so they can achieve success at school, at work and in life.

The organization produced an extraordinary radio documentary Called Going Black: The Legacy Of Philly Soul Radio— which  focuses on such radio pioneers such  as Douglas “Jocko” Henderson, Georgie Woods, Louise Williams, Jimmy Bishop, Harvey Holiday and Butterball among so many others.
