About Braeden Anderson

Braeden Anderson is a remarkable young leader—an author, attorney, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He penned BLACK RESILIENCE - The Blueprint for Black Triumph in the Face of Racism, a seminal work providing a powerful strategy for Black empowerment and success. He also founded the Black Resilience Foundation, dedicated to furthering this mission.

Braeden's legal prowess is evident from his tenure as an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, D.C., specializing in representing financial institutions, investment advisers, public companies, and senior officers in internal investigations. Previously, he honed his expertise at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City, focusing on securities enforcement and regulatory matters. His academic contributions include serving as an adjunct professor of business law at Monroe College and as Chairman of the Corporate Law Section of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.

A former Division 1 college basketball player, Braeden achieved remarkable success on the court with the Seton Hall Pirates, winning the Big East Conference Championship while attending law school. Braeden made history with this feat, becoming the first active male Division I basketball player to ever play while in law school full-time. Braeden's journey is one of overcoming socioeconomic and racial barriers, defying expectations, and conquering adversity.
