105.3 WDAS is celebrating Black History Month by shouting out some of our favorite sons and daughters throughout the month of February with The Pride of Philly…some of the biggest names in the world of music, entertainment, politics and the arts that hail from Philly or the surrounding Tri-State area.

Eve Jihan Jeffers-Cooper, a rapper and actress from Philadelphia is also the inaugural winner of the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Song Collaboration in 2002, for the song "Let Me Blow Ya Mind". As an actress, Eve is known for her roles as Terri Jones in the films Barbershop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business and Barbershop: The Next Cut. Eve has also achieved success in fashion, with her clothing line, Fetish. For the past 4 years, she served as a permanent co-host on the television show ‘The Talk’, with her tenure ending as she retired from the post this past December.
