Actor Malik Yoba gives a revelation but then receives an accusation and tough words from his babymomma. The actor best known for his roles in the 90’s drama New York Undercover and more recently a short stint on Empire, revealed he’s attracted to transgendered women. He made this revelation when he was speaking to his support of LGBTQ issues and specifically to a man who committed suicide for being teased and bullied for the young man’s involvement with a transwoman. Yoba revealed he himself is attracted to transwomen to put into context how wrong it was the young man who committed suicide was shamed. However things took a turn when days later a transwoman claimed an affair at aged 13 with….Malik Yoba. Then, the mother of Yoba’s two children publicly asked why Yoba would reveal this without considering his children. Now they’re being bullied at school because reportedly the children didn’t know this about their father. Now this complicates the New York Undercover reboot that’s coming to ABC this fall. Yoba is set to reprise his role as Detective J.C. Williams, but with accusations and the complication to his family, what’s going happen next?

Kevin Hart begins his long road to recovery with surgery repairing three spinal fractures as result of his serious car accident over the holiday weekend. Hart’s friend Jared Black and Black’s fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman, who is also the personal trainer to Hart’s wife Eniko Parrish-Hart, were all in the car. The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was a special prize in Hart’s car collection, but it wasn’t Hart driving. Black was at the wheel when the car crashed through a wooden fence and went down a gully. The roof had to be removed to get the passengers out with Hart and Black suffering major back injuries. Broxterman, who was in the backseat, wasn’t hurt. Alcohol was ruled out as a cause, but the investigation continues. The actor/comedian/entrepreneur will face a pretty intense recovery period. Now you know “My Nephew” is always busy with touring, movies and TV appearances. Hart’s good friend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who’s riding high at the box office with Hobbs & Shaw, left his honeymoon early to support Hart. This included keeping Hart’s commitment to be Kelly Clarkson’s first guest on her new daytime talker. Johnson also took to social media to wish Hart well and a speedy recovery.

Diddy and Lori Harvey, as Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams use to sing, It’s Over. The May-December romance between Music Mogul Sean Puffy Combs and Model Lori Harvey, the stepdaughter of WDAS Morning Man Steve Harvey, has ended. The two faced some obstacles and quite a bit of controversy. He’s 49 and she’s 23. Combs has left a string of women behind who also reportedly thought they’d be the one, and Lori Harvey previously dated Combs’ oldest son. Did these differences seal the fate on this relationship? Harvey is the one who pulled the plug. Was Combs too controlling? Did she want a hot girl summer and he just wanted to chill…a.k.a. I’m tired 'cause I’m 49? Reportedly, Combs wants Harvey back. Will they reconcile of just move on?

R Kelly is out of solitary confinement. The embattled singer songwriter is facing a host of charges, including sex trafficking, kidnapping and sexual abuse of minors in New York and Illinois. Kelly, who was remanded to custody until trial, has now been moved to general population. According to his lawyer Steve Greenberg, he expects Kelly to have no problems with other prisoners and says they will probably even miss Kelly when he leaves. Kelly’s legal team argued having Kelly, who hasn’t been convicted of anything, in solitary was detrimental to his well being particularly because he’s illiterate and can’t even keep his mind occupied by reading. Kelly trial date for the 13 federal charges in Illinois has now been set for April 27, 2020.

Colonel Taylor tells a little about being married to The Queen Of Soul. Actor Glynn Turman is 72. He is best known for his roles in the movie Cooley High and the TV show A Different World. He’s a legend, but when he was married to Aretha Franklin from 1978-1984, he learned a great lesson about jealousy. Not from Aretha, but from her audience. The Queen Of Soul was performing in Paris when she decided to introduce her then husband to the audience. They promptly started to boo him. What? Booing Colonel Taylor? Yes, but Turman said he understood. The audience saw him as getting between them and their Queen Of Soul. Turman, who at the time was already a well accomplished actor, had to navigate being married to a legend and the Paris incident was symbolic of such a situation.

Olympic Darling Simone Biles says her heart aches over the entire incident that saw her brother’s arrest over triple homicide charges. Biles took to social media and expressed her emotional condolences toward the victims, their families and all affected by this incident. The 22-year old Olympic gold medalist also asked to respect her family’s privacy as they deal with their pain. Tevin-Biles Thomas is facing murder, manslaughter, assault and perjury charges relating to a New Year’s Eve house party and an Airbnb, in which three people were killed and several others were wounded. Police say an uninvited group came to that New Year’s Eve party resulting in an altercation, which itself turned into a shooting. Tevin-Biles Thomas was arrested in Georgia and is scheduled to be arraigned in Ohio on September 13th.
