5 Things to Know About COPD

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the third most common cause of death in the U.S. At least 15 million Americans have COPD. Women are at higher risk compared to men.

It is a chronic lung disease that includes emphysema and/or chronic bronchitis.
