Our very own Philly Treasure Patti LaBelle is celebrating a milestone. The singer, known for her hits On My Own, You Are My Friend and If Only You Knew, celebrates her 70th birthday this weekend. Happy Birthday Miss Patti!!! It'll be a busy summer for the legendary singer. She's also returning to Broadway. The musical After Midnight is up for seven Tony Awards, and Patti joins the show for the month of June (the 10th through the 29th). Patti's fellow R&B Legends Gladys Knight and Natalie Cole will also be joining the production (Gladys Knight: July 8th-Aug 3rd and Natalie Cole: August 5-31st). After Midnight is a musical is about The Duke Ellington years at The Cotton Club in Harlem. Past performers in the musical include Fantasia, K.D. Lang, Vanessa Williams, Toni Braxton and Babyface.

Singer Toni Braxton exposes some shocking revelations in her new book Unbreak My Heart. Braxton admits to having an abortion ten years ago. She says she was on acne medication and feared harm to her unborn baby. Braxton does also admit she didn’t want to inconvenience her lifestyle A couple of years later, she gave birth to an autistic child, and she felt God was punishing her for having the previous abortion. Braxton also talks about her financial troubles, including filing for bankruptcy twice. The Seven Whole Days singer also covers feeling dissed by Oprah Winfrey on national TV, her marriage to Mint Condition's Keri Lewis and dealing with her autoimmune disease lupus.

The Exes are talking, and it's not all pretty. Tameka Raymond divorced Singer Usher back in 2009, and they have two sons together. Torrei Hart divorced Comedian/Actor Kevin Hart in 2011, and they have a daughter and son together. Tameka is talking, and she says dumb things she did lead to the downfall of her marriage. That includes the life threatening liposuction treatment she had in Brazil. Tameka suffered cardiac arrest as a result of the risky plastic surgery. Tameka also says her nagging ways and moody behavior was a result of the pressure from the constant spotlight being married to a superstar. Meanwhile, Torrei Hart calls her ex-husband's girlfriend a homewrecker. Torrei says Kevin Hart's lady, Eniko Parrish, contributed to their divorce. Torrei also says it's hard to see Eniko around her children. Well, then my “Nephew” took to twitter to defend his lady. He says Eniko had nothing to do with his divorce. Kevin also mentioned that $20,000 a month and embracing his ex's new boyfriend must not be enough. OUCH!  Torrei and Tameka are co-stars on the realty show Atlanta Exes, the VH1 spinoff of Hollywood Exes. Atlanta Exes debuts this August on VH1.

R Kelly's ex-wife Andrea is divorcing her husband after two months of marriage. What happened? Apparently, Andrea Kelly rushed into a marriage with a man who was a con artist. While he was married to her, he was still soliciting money from other woman. Andre Kelly is one of the stars of the VH1 reality show Hollywood Exes.

Columbus Short continues to have problems. The ex Scandal co-star is facing new allegations that he violated the restraining order that says he is to stay away from his wife and the home they shared together. The order alleges that he threatened to kill her and himself, and then slashed her tires. This is the second domestic violence accusation against Short toward his wife Tuere. Short is still facing domestic violence and child abuse charges from the first incident. Tuere Short has filed for divorce and is seeking custody of the couple's two-year old daughter. Short has been surrounded by a number of domestic abuse allegations. The press on it got so out of control, Scandal Producer Shonda Rhimes and her show got their backs put up against the wall. Bottom line Short was dropped from the show.

The almost three-year marriage is over between Sherri Shepherd of The View and Lamar Sally, and now we may know why. Sally wants money, and $10 million is at stake plus an unborn child. Sherri and Lamar are expecting a  son, Lamar Sally, Jr., with a surrogate this summer.  Lamar wants custody of the kid, and he wants the prenup thrown out. Lamar also wants Sherri to pay his legal bills. So, what went wrong?!!! Apparently Lamar wants to be obeyed: he wanted Sherri to sign a contract that required her not to get fat; exercise three times a week; follow the clause that states she had to enjoy having sex with him; obey him and speak well of him at all times. Lamar says the marriage was a fraud. Is it because Sherri refused to sign the contract? In the past few months, Sherri did lose weight and and was promoting exercise. She even wrote a book about it. Did Lamar want more, or is he just after her money? What kind of man would do that to a woman? Sherri has not spoken about this is on The View. Has a gag been put on her? One day, will the comedienne include this chapter of her life in a comedy routine.... once the pain goes away?
