Is there trouble in paradise for Kerry Washington and her husband, former NFL Player Nnamdi Asomugha? Asomugha is no longer playing in the NFL after being cut by the 49ers. He was seen partying it up in New York while the very pregnant Kerry stayed behind in Los Angeles. Washington is rarely seen with her hubby, and their wedding was held in a shroud of secrecy. What’s with these two? Everything is so secretive between them. Will it change once the baby arrives? That due date is any day now. Look for a new season of Scandal to start on February 27th.

Rapper DMX is scheduled to fight George Zimmerman in a celebrity boxing match. Zimmerman was found not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teenager shot to death by Zimmerman. DMX is 43, and has spent the last few months fighting his addictions. Zimmerman, 30, has been preparing for the last few months to box someone. The winner will get a million dollars in the scheduled three rounder. Trayvon Martin would have turned 19-years old this week.

Wayne Brady will be hosting this year’s BET Honors. Scheduled honorees include The Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin, Motown Founder and Broadway Impresario Berry Gordy and Rapper/Actor Ice Cube. The show airs February 24th on BET.

No more reality TV for Ice T and his wife CoCo. The husband and wife duo are teaming up with Ryan Seacrest to host a talk show.

The children of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King are fighting again. According to published reports, the King children are broke and the brothers, Dexter and Martin, III are suing their sister Bernice. Congrats to Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson! He and his wife, Christina Evangeline, are expecting their first child, a baby girl.

Singer Keyshia Cole owes the I.R.S. money to the tune of $162,000. The taxes in question are from the songstress’ banner year in 2009 when she headlined a successful tour.

We remember Music Entrepreneur Anna Gordy Gaye. Anna was the sister of Berry Gordy and became a Motown executive in the 1960’s. Before that, she founded her own label in 1958 called Anna Records, and later had the hit Money, That’s What I Want by Barrett Strong. Gaye’s future husband, Singer Marvin Gaye, was a session musician for the label. After Anna Records was absorbed into brother Berry’s Motown Records, Anna married Marvin Gaye despite his being 17-years her junior. She also co-wrote the Motown classics Just To Keep You Satisfied, What Christmas Means To Me, God Is Love and Baby I’m for Real. Anna also inspired Marvin to co-write Pride & Joy, Pretty Little Baby and If This World Were Mine. They had one son, Marvin III, before they divorced in 1976. Marvin Gaye’s classic album, Here My Dear, was inspired by the court ruling that the residuals of that album go to Anna as part of their divorce settlement. Marvin and Anna became close again shortly before Marvin’s death and after his divorce from second wife Janis Gaye. Anna Gordy Gaye was 92-years old, and her death coincides with the 30th anniversary of Marvin’s April 1st, 1984 passing.
