Brian McKnight is having serious money troubles. He is currently suing his former accountant, Vernon Brown & Co., for failing to pay his taxes over a ten-year period. McKnight, singer/songwriter/producer, owes a million dollars in back taxes and over $500,000 in back penalties and interest. He says he was placed on an installment plan, but no payments were made. McKnight's music royalties have been frozen, he now has bad credit and his drivers license is suspended. It’s hard to believe he would let this situation come to this. Why wasn’t he paying attention to his money? Personal finances are not something you can leave solely to others.
