Finally!!! Some good news for Sherri Shepherd! As Shepherd prepares to leave the daytime talker The View on August 7th, she got news from a judge who decided to let her keep custody of her nine-year old son. Shepherd's ex-husband, Jeffrey Tarpley, took her to court trying to gain full custody of their nine-year old claiming Shepherd was a terrible mother who worked too much. The judge didn’t agree, and now Shepherd retains full custody of her son. Let’s hope she gets good news regarding her soon to be ex-husband Lamar Sally. Sally is dragging Shepherd into court demanding that she be a mother to their unborn surrogate child. Shepherd announced a couple of weeks ago, that she was backing out of the deal citing Sally only wants money. Shepherd says she was coerced into the surrogate agreement, and that Sally should take responsibility since it IS his sperm and NOT her eggs. Sally has accused Shepherd of not being a good Christian because she backed out of the deal. Shepherd realizes she has made a major mistake.....again! She just wants to put this marriage drama behind her and get on with her life.

Get Ready for The Best Man III. The Best Man Wedding is the third installment in the movie franchise, and is expected to debut in theaters April 15th, 2016. Last year's first sequel, The Best Man Holiday starring Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Terrence Howard, Harold Perrineau, Regina Hall, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Nia Long, was a smash taking in over $70 million at the box office. Writer/Director Malcolm D. Lee is slated to helm The Best Man Wedding with the original cast reprising their roles again.

Speaking of The Best Man, the cast members are already busy with projects. Morris Chestnut is hosting a new docu-series on BET. Vindicated airs Sundays at 10pm on the cable station. The Aaliyah bio-pic for Lifetime is moving ahead, and now The Queen Of All Media, Wendy Williams, is behind the project as executive producer. Williams says the movie will tell the real story about the late singer, including her career and controversial marriage to R Kelly when she was 15 and he was 27.
