Congrats to Dancing With The Stars Champion Amber Riley. The Glee actress, Reality TV Star Jack Osbourne and High School Musical's Corbin Bleu took it right down to the finals with Riley emerging victorious. She dedicated her win to women of all sizes and reminded them they can achieve whatever they want. Riley did feel some wear from the rigorous 17-week dance regiment. She began having trouble with her knees and walking was becoming a problem. In the end, she and partner Derek Hough stuck it
out and took home the mirror ball trophy.

Dr. Conrad Murray is out of jail and talking. Dr. Murray, who continues to proclaim his innocence, is very bitter about his jail time resulting from his manslaughter conviction in the death of Michael Jackson. The doctor says The King Of Pop was a drug addict who accidentally killed himself, and toward the end, even needed the doctor to hold Jackson's “member” for the singer to relive himself. Murray also claims that Jackson was not the biological father to his three kids Blanket, Prince Michael and Paris. The 60-year old doctor says Jackson confided having never been intimate with Debbie Rowe, the children's mother and Jackson's ex-wife. Published reports say Rowe's response was she'd buy the bullet for the Jackson fan that wants to shoot Murray.

The Soul Train Awards air this Sunday, December 1st. Actor Anthony Anderson is hosting and the night's special honorees include Dionne Warwick and Keith Sweat. Performances that night will include Ron Isley, Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson, Gladys Knight, Tamar Braxton, Ruben Studdard and Eddie Levert. The Soul Train Awards airs 8pm on the BET and Centric networks.

Hot on the heels of The Best Man Holiday success, Writer/Director Robert Townsend is ready to bring a sequel to another classic movie. 1991's Five Heartbeats was directed and co-written by Townsend, and he says he's ready to bring the story of the five-man R&B group's rough rise to success back to the big screen. The original movie co-starred Leon, Michael Wright, Harry J. Lennix and Tico Wells.

Get ready for a Best Man III! The movie Best Man Holiday, the long-awaited sequel to 1999's The Best Man, opened big. To date, Holiday has made making over $50 million on its opening weekend. The movie cost $17 million to make and has turned a tidy profit very quickly. Writer/Director Malcolm Lee is already in talks to continue the franchise and helm another movie.

Speaking of The Best Man Holiday cast, Morris Chestnut is coming back to TV on the TNT drama Legends. You can also check him out on the latest issues of Muscle & Performance and Upscale magazines. Nia Long will be one of the stars of the Tyler Perry movie Single Moms' Club, which opens in theatres May 9th. Taye Diggs returns to TV in the TNT drama Murder In The First. Regina Hall has starring roles in About Last Night with Kevin Hart, which opens in theatres February 14th, and Think Like A Man II, which opens June 20th. Harold Perrineau and Terrence Howard team up with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Sabotage, which comes out April 14th. Finally, Sanaa Lathan will team up with Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie for the movie Repentance, which opens in theatres February 28th.

So what’s next for Taraji P. Henson after the CBS show Person Of Interest? Her character, supercop “Joss Carter” was killed off the show. Word has it, the Oscar-nominated actress may return to the big screen in the James Brown bio-pic Get On Up. The movie, slated to arrive in theatres on October 17th, 2014, already stars Chadwick Boseman, who played Jackie Robinson in the hit movie 42, Viola Davis and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, who both starred in the movie The Help. Henson will be back in  Think Like A Man II, which opens June 20th.

Tia Mowry has another hit on her hands. The actress who previously starred in Sister, Sister and The Game has a new hit in the form of the Nickelodeon sitcom Instant Mom. The show also stars Sheryl Lee Ralph and Michael Boatman, and has been renewed for a second season.

Shonda Rhimes, the writer/creator/producer of Scandal, Private Practice and
Grey's Anatomy, is ready to tell all in a new book scheduled for release in 2015. Rhimes wants to talk about being a single mom while striving for professional success.

Eddie Murphy is thinking about a return to stand up comedy in a mockumentary featuring Stevie Wonder.

Haunted House II with Marlon Wayans opens in theatres March 28th 2014. The movie also stars Cedric The Entertainer and Jamie Pressley.

Ricky Minor is returning as musical director for American Idol. The new season, with Judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban, returns in January. Minor returns to Idol after a two-year absence to do The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

First Lady Michelle Obama is on the cover of Ladies Home Journal, and she
talks about Christmas at The White House.

Brandy will team with Tyler Perry for a new TV sitcom being pitched to OWN,
BET and TBS. Brandy last worked with the writer/producer/director/actor in Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor. In other Tyler news, he'll be joining Oscar Winner Ben Affleck in the movie Gone Girl. Perry will play a lawyer assisting Affleck. Filming starts next month. Meanwhile on December 13
th, get ready for Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas  starring Anna Marie Horsford (Amen) and Tika Sumpter (The Haves & Have Nots). Perry is also working on new DVD projects: Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned and Madea's Neighbors From Hell.

Has Ahmad Rashad found a new love? The four-times divorced Rashad was most famously married to Actress Phylicia Rashad of The Cosby Show. Ahmad Rashad was recently just divorced from Sale Johnson, the ex-wife of Woody Johnson of the billion dollar Johnson & Johnson company. The ex-NFL player and TV broadcaster is now rumored to be dating Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama.

Kevin Owens, the former background singer for Luther Vandross, is writing a
book about Vandross called So Amazing. Owens, who used to sing with the  group Ray, Goodman & Brown, says his book will detail his 32 years on the road, Luther's hit songs and the late singer's devotion to his fans.

Congrats to Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. She is now the
proud mother of twins. Zolciak gave birth to a boy and a girl, who were born over the weekend.

Chilli of TLC is taking it all off....... for PETA! Chilli is speaking out against the abuse of animals in the circus, particularly tigers. This is all about what they call the training of tigers for circuses, which is beating them into submission. Chilli and PETA's campaign is called “Boycott The Circus.”

Will Smith has signed on for the adventure movie City That Failed. The film is about a father and daughter on the island of Manhattan, which breaks loose and sails across the Atlantic.

Comedian Kevin Hart's ex-wife Torrei Hart has joined the cast of the TV show
Atlanta Exes along with Tameka Raymond, the ex-wife of Singer Usher.

How hot is Actress Tika Sumpter? She has a lot of movies coming out over the next year including Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas, Ride Along with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube and the James Brown bio-pic Get On Up. Plus, there's her hit Tyler Perry TV drama The Have And Have Nots, which was renewed for a second season after breaking all kinds of ratings records on the OWN cable network.

Don Cheadle will be starring in and directing the movie Kill The Trumpeter about the life of Jazz Great Miles Davis. Zoe Saldana and Ewan McGregor will also be starring in the movie.

Martin Lawrence is returning to TV next year on the FX network. Lawrence is
teaming up with Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier) for a sitcom about two lawyers.

Actor/Author Hill Harper is on a roll with his USA network show Covert Affairs,
which airs Thursday nights at 10pm. Harper also has a new book out Letters For An Incarcerated Brother, and he has just signed on for the new Jennifer Lopez movie Boy Next Door. In that film, Lopez plays a woman who becomes involved with her neighbor's teenage son and realizes he’s crazy.

CNN News Anchor/Reporter Don Lemon is getting a new late night show on
CNN which will air next month at 11pm.

The TV One network has renewed their hit show R&B Divas for a third season.

Mary J. Blige is on the latest issue of Shape magazine. At 42, she looks incredible. Blige says the key to her amazing body is giving up drugs and alcohol. She said she refuses to go out like Whitney Houston. Meanwhile, get ready for A Very Mary Christmas, Blige’s first holiday album. The CD will features 12 classic holiday remakes and duets with Barbara Streisand, The Clark Sisters and Marc Anthony. Grammy Award-winning Producer David Foster produced the project.

Singer Eric Benet is coming to reality TV. Benet will be the host of Sub Stars, which showcases underground musicians who are discovered in subway systems across major U.S. cities.

Blair Underwood is moving on after his cancelled NBC show Ironside. Underwood will be starring alongside Cicely Tyson and Keke Palmer in the Lifetime movie A Trip To Bountiful. Tyson won a Tony for her successful run in Bountiful on Broadway. The movie version will air next year.

Congrats to Singer and X Factor Judge Kelly Rowland! The former Destiny's
Child member just got engaged to her longtime boyfriend/Manager Tim


Miami Heat Basketball Star Dwayne Wade's memoir, A Father First, is coming
to TV. The FOX network is developing Wade's life as a father into asitcom titled Three The Hard Way. If the show is picked up, Wade says he won't star but may appear in a cameo. The NBA star also says he likes a mix of laughs and lessons like he saw on The Cosby Show.

Speaking of Cosby, the comedian is eying another return to primetime TV. Cosby, 76, is developing a new family comedy saying he wants to bring back wholesome family comedies to television.

Season three of Mary Mary’s reality show will deal with infidelity, fighting with their manager and Erica's voice problems. The show airs on WE-TV.

Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett have signed on for season four of American
Horror Story. The TV drama has built up quite a fan base on the FX network.

Hunky Actor Idris Elba is off the market. Elba and longtime girlfriend, Hair & Makeup Artist Naiyana Garth, are planning wedding dates as they prepare to welcome their first child. The actor has a daughter from a previous marriage. Elba will be starring in the Nelson Mandela biopic Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom. He’s featured as one of the Sexiest Men Alive in the latest edition of People magazine along with Songwriter/Producer/Singers Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams. The Sexiest Man Alive issue with Adam Levine of  NBC's The Voice on the cover is on newsstands now.

Tamar Braxton's talk show ,The Real with fellow co-hosts Actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, Singer Adrienne Bailon, Comedienne Loni Love and Actress Jeannie Mai, has been picked up for a full season next fall on FOX stations around the country.

Actor Michael Ealy (Think Like A Man, Barbershop)  has returned to TV in
the cop-drama Almost Human on FOX. Ealy is also returning to the big screen next year in two projects with Comedian Kevin Hart: About Last Night on opening on Valentine's Day with Joy Bryant & Regina Hall and Think Like A Man Part II with Gabrielle Union & Taraji P. Henson hitting theatres next June.

Speaking of Kevin Hart, he's back with The Real Husbands Of Hollywood on BET.  Hart is on a roll! He just signed a deal with ABC to develop a pilot based on his life as standup comedian and divorced father, and he has another  new movie for 2013, Ride Along with Ice Cube and Tika Sumpter, coming out in theatres in January. Finally Hart is also playing a boxing promoter in the new movie Grudge opening Christmas
Day with Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone. De Niro (Oscar winner for Raging Bull) and Stallone (Oscar nominee for Rocky) play two aging boxers who get back in the ring. Hart is also starring in the romantic comedy About Last Night.

Babyface and Toni Braxton are headed to Broadway next spring in the Wynton
Marsalis production After Midnight. The musical is about the Harlem Renaissance and The Cotton Club and includes many top name musicians coming in and out of the production. This will be Babyface's Broadway debut. Toni Braxton has performed on Broadway before in Beauty & The Beast and Aida. Braxton and Babyface will be in the musical March 18-30
th for a limited run. Their new duet CD, Love Marriage & Divorce, is
coming out in December. This week, Babyface got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.  Toni Braxton is also writing her memoirs in Unbreak My Heart, which is coming out February 2014. Babyface and Toni Braxton's new CD, Love, Marriage & Divorce, is available now.

Stevie Wonder is planning to release two new music projects next year. The
63-year old Motown legend says his recent divorce from Designer Kai Millard Morris inspired him to do a new project. The album, When The World Began, will be produced by fellow Music Legend David Foster. Wonder is also working on a gospel album, which he plans to dedicate to his late mother.

The Queen Latifah produced drama Single Ladies, starring LisaRaye, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi, is returning to VH1 for a third season in January.

Denzel Washington is returning to Broadway in A Raisin In The Sun running
March 8
th –June 15th
2014 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre where the original play opened. A Raisin In The Sun also stars Diahann Carroll and Anika Noni Rose, and
is slated for a 14-week run.

Kem, Patti LaBelle and Ronald Isley are joining forces for a new holiday
song called Jesus. The song appears on Kem's holiday CD What Christmas Means, which is out now.
