Columbus Short and Claudia Jordan?!!! HMMMMMMMM! The ex-Scandal star and the former Deal Or No Deal model have been spotted out and about together, but is this a good look? The still married Short has all kinds of drama going on, including with the law with all those domestic violence accusations. Jordan is being seen as jumping from opportunity to opportunity. She recently landed the Bravo reality show The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Even though Jordan has been reportedly been divorced from Actor/Model/Producer Datari Turner for years. She also landed her current radio gig on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. Short and Jordan's careers definitely seem to be going in two different directions.

James Brown's widow Tomi Rae Hynie says she’s so broke that she's been forced to pan handle in the streets of Las Vegas. Tomi Rae says she and her 13-year old son, James, Jr., are fighting to survive. They can’t get any money from the James Brown estate because of all the legal wranglings. Tomi Rae says James, Jr. is a rightful heir. But, so many people have come forward claiming that Brown is their father, they can’t get money. Tomi Rae has faced questions on the legitimacy of her marriage as well as the paternity of her son. When Brown was alive, it was alleged he had a vasectomy and couldn't have fathered Tomi Rae's son. So, she had to force a DNA test which proved her correct. Tomi Rae also claims that Brown's legs had to be cut off to get DNA from the bone marrow to prove her son's paternity because his body was already filled with embalming fluid, and you couldn’t get a real DNA test.

In other James Brown news, the movie on his life story, Get On Up, is on par to hit $50 million at the box office. Get On Up stars Chadwick Boseman, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Tika Sumpter, Dan Aykroyd and Jill Scott. Boseman is amazing as The Godfather Of Soul. He really captures the spirit, the look and the soul of James Brown. Other outstanding performers in the movie include Nelsan Ellis, who plays Brown's longtime sidekick Bobby Byrd. Byrd died only a year after Brown passed in 2006. Ellis is best known for his role as the flamboyant “Lafayette Reynolds” in the HBO series True Blood. Craig Robinson stands out as the legendary Bandleader Maceo Parker, and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter from The Roots also appears as Bandmember Pee Wee Ellis. Check out the cast on the latest issue of Ebony magazine. Ebony uses a dual cover with the cast on one and a second with Chadwick Boseman solo.

The world is still reeling from the death of Comedian and Oscar-winning Actor Robin Williams, who died of an apparent suicide. Williams was 63 year-old, and authorities say he hung himself at home. He was recently diagnosed with depression after entering rehab this year. Williams has struggled with addictions to drugs and alcohol for more than 30 years. He was the last person to see the late Comedian John Belushi before he died of an overdose in 1982. Williams also suffered the lost of his close friend and college roommate Actor Christopher Reeve in 2004. Williams also went into rehab in 2006 after 20 years of sobriety. He had four movies that have yet to be released including Merry Friggin' Christmas with Joel McHale, Boulevard with Kathy Baker, A Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb with Ben Stiller, and a sci-fi movie, Absolutely Anything, where Williams voices the character of “Dennis, the talking dog.” Were money issues a factor? Friends say Williams last two divorces cost him millions. He was in the process of selling his $35 million Villa, where he lived. In a recent interview, Williams admitted he only took a recent TV job, on CBS' The Crazy Ones, for the money. The show was cancelled after one season, and sources say he didn’t take the news well. In his last public appearance, Williams appeared gaunt and subdued. Williams' string of movie successes included Awakenings, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets' Society, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam. His big breakthrough came on television when he got his own show spun off from Happy Days. It was the hit sitcom Mork & Mindy on ABC from 1978-1982.
