Strange things have been happening with CeeLo Green. His odd appearance at Sunday night's Grammy ceremony followed by his abrupt exit, led fans to believe the singer was on facing some mental-meltdown. However after releasing the music video for his single "Jay-Z's Girl," we now have an explanation for CeeLo, or should we say Gnarly Davidson's, behavior.

The costume was a part of a larger promotion for CeeLo's new later ego, Gnarly Davidson, not to be confused with Gnars Barkley. Green introduced the world to his new persona in an interview with XXL, “Look at me… LOOK AT ME! YOU DID THIS TO ME CEELO GREEN, YOU F*CKING IDIOT. BUT I LIKE IT, I’m actually…BETTER! Than you… than everyone! A karmikaze upon you! Vengeance is mine sayeth GNARLY DAVIDSON. P.S. TECHNOLOJESUS saves.”

And a new look isn't the only treat we're getting from Gnarly Davidson. The born-again artist just dropped a video for "Jay-Z's Girl," which samples Rick Springfield's 80's hit "Jessie's Girl."
