Loraine Ballard Morrill talks to Wynne Alexander about WDAS History

Loraine Ballard Morrill speaks to Wynne Alexander about the history and legacy of WDAS. Wynne Alexander is the granddaughter of Max Leon, the original owner of WDAS in Philadelphia, and the daughter of Bob Klein who managed WDAS early on in station history. Wynne worked in the news room and knew many of the journalists like Joe Rainey and djs who were covering the Civil Rights movement and Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King. She talks with Loraine about the risks everyone on WDAS took to put themselves on the line to do the work WDAS did in the community and country.
