During the winter months to have an auto- starter for your car is an absolute blessing. With this luxury, your able to warm your car to finish doing whatever you need to to start your day. For this Bronx woman, this luxury was an easy tool to steal her car, but she was able to get her car back! But, how?
Outside of a New York City apartment in Melrose a 49 year old woman was in the mist warming up her car to take her son to school. As she was leaving her apartment building, 19 year old Bernado Santiago was seen working on her ignition to hot wire her car because she still had the key in her possession. She opened her car door, grabbed him, and threw him to the ground! This mother, attained him until NYPD arrived. Talk about taking control of your situation.
Once the police arrived, the 19-year old was charged with attempted grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal stolen possession of stolen property.
